WIP Wednesday - at last...

The time has come to have work in progress. I meant to start this quilt in June 2011, joining Elizabeth's Kaleidoscope QAL. I stopped I the stage of fabric selection

But did other things in the meantime, like this quilt for my granddaughter and some more little things.

This quilt is for my son, who's waiting for it for a very long time. He asked for a green quilt, so I pulled out all my green fabrics plus some blues and a shot of red - my very favorite color.

The kaleidoscope design requires templates, I used the templates from Elizabeth great tutorial. I decided I prefer not using templates, but it was a good experience.

The triangle are all cut, I started arranging blocks on my design wall

I'm still not sure about the final design

Hope to make great progress till next week

I'm linking to Lee from Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by!
